Stephanie McGinnity began dancing at the age of three, and has been trained in a variety of genres, including Jazz, Acro, Cecchetti Ballet, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Modern. Stephanie became a competitive dancer at the age of eight and continued her training until the age of 17. Her nine years of competitive dance experience has rewarded her with many overall placements and special awards, and has taught her great discipline and dedication, allowing her passion for this art form to flourish. Her passion for dance is consistently evident in her teaching, as she is dedicated to passing on her knowledge, and creating a positive learning environment for her students.
Stephanie graduated from Mayfield’s Regional Arts Program (RAP) in Dance, where she gained great leadership and collaborative skills, shaping her into a strong choreographer and instructor. Stephanie worked alongside her peers and teachers to organize various RAP events, as well as to choreograph dance pieces for the many dance shows she participated in within her four years in the program. The RAP dance program has also allowed Stephanie to partake in numerous dance workshops of diverse styles, contributing to her versatility as both a dancer and instructor.
As Stephanie embarks on her fourth year of teaching with Dancsync Academy, she looks forward to continue inspiring and sharing her passion for dance with her students, and cannot wait to watch her students grow into talented, outstanding dancers! She truly works to create a safe space for her students to have fun and create amazing memories, while doing what they love!
